From 17 July 2014 to 20 December 2014 there will be a display ‘From Fells to Flanders’ at the Museum of Lakeland Life & Industry, Kendal.
This includes Waterbird’s original float and Edward Wakefield’s patent, together with many other fascinating items about early flight on Windermere.
