The 105th anniversary of the first Distinguished Flying Crosses being awarded, which included not only to Windermere graduate pilots Flight Lieutenant Harold Gonyon and Flight Lieutenant Victor Bessette but also to Windermere resident Flight Lieutenant Cooper Pattinson.
